Memoir Book Layout & Typography
I had the opportunity to work with Clarise Ike to bring her personal story to life through a multi-page memoir layout. This project focused on translating her deeply reflective and emotional narrative into a physical reading experience that invites the reader to move through her memories with a sense of connection and familiarity. Because the story is rooted in personal reflection and healing, the layout was intentionally designed with a clean and familiar editorial style. A structured grid system, consistent typography hierarchy, and balanced spacing were used to support readability while allowing the content to remain the focal point. The project emphasizes clarity, consistency, and production-ready execution, demonstrating the ability to design a cohesive system across multiple pages while maintaining emotional tone and visual restraint.
